 What is Your Focus? Last time we looked at "Where is Your Focus?" Today, we will discover what is your focus in your daily life? Scripture:Philippians 4:8 (ESV) Often we focus on different things, material things, technological things, objects, typically what we often physically place in our hands or even touch.  What is your focus on? Is your focus on material things? Worldly ideologies? Other people? This is the time to get focused on eternal things, the things of God.  Let's read what Apostle Paul wrote to the Phillipian Church regarding praise worthy focus: 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.  Who is Your Focus? Today, there are many  various and diverse influences upon our senses and in particular on the mind and heart. Mankind is bombarded with so many mind stimulus such as television, social media, news channels, radio, music and movie industries, road signs etc. Often humanity is overwhelmed by the influence of so much mind influencing activity. The question we are to answer is who is your focus? So often through sports networks, television, Hollywood, social media, many focus on famous individual. These famous individuals can come in various means such as famous people of the past, TV stars, sports stars, politicians, etc. So often people are focused on these famous people that it the person may even become an idol. Matthew 14:30 (ESV) 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Are you focusing on the important things of this world or of God's kingdom? What is your daily priority of your life? What are you focused on? When the apostles were on the boat crossing the Sea of Galilee, the waves of the sea became rough.
